Apple Watch Series 7 is coming this fall, as are AirPods 3, iPad mini 6, and more
Apple will be introducing its new iPhone models, Apple Watch Series 7, and long-rumored AirPods 3 within the next month. Bloomberg's Mark Gurman provides an overview of all Apple's fall announcements in his Power On newsletter.
The upcoming iPhone 13 has already been extensively discussed by us. Gurman also goes over what to expect from Apple's upcoming phones. Despite the fact that this is supposed to be a "classic Apple S model," he predicts the next iPhone will be called "iPhone 13."
As far as other features are concerned, he expects the specifications to remain the same, though with a smaller notch at the top, a video rendition of Portrait mode, a faster A15 chip, and ProMotion with a 120Hz refresh rate for the Pro models.
Apple Watch Series 7 and Fitness+
Gurman predicts that Apple Watch Series 7 will feature flatter displays and expanded screen technology, as well as a faster processor. Many months have passed since rumors circulated that Apple will bring a flatter design to its next Watch.
Additionally, he said, Apple Fitness+ subscribers will be able to take classes for Time to Run and Audio Meditations in addition to Time to Walk.
"The next entry-level AirPods will be designed closer to the AirPods Pro, including new in-ear shapes and shorter stems," Gurman says. This will be Apple's "most significant update since the AirPods first launched in 2016."
Moreover, the next generation of AirPods is likely to be released without ANC and Transparency Mode, but its design will help isolate sound more effectively.
iPad mini 6 and iPad 9
Featuring thinner borders and a complete redesign, Gurman writes the iPad mini 6 will become an Apple favorite.
Besides rumors, our sources tell that the next iPad mini will feature the A15 chip, USB-C connector, and a magnetic Smart Connector, similar to the iPad Air and iPad Pro.
Gurman also mentions a new, slimmer, faster ninth-generation iPad may be coming to college students.
Is there a new MacBook Pro on the way?
It's unlikely that the new MacBook Pro will be unveiled during the September event, but Gurman notes that the M1X-equipped 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pros should still be on the market by the time the present Mac Pro turns two years old.
According to Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, the upcoming MacBook Pros could feature mini LED displays.
Apple users and the company itself will surely have an exciting few months ahead. How excited are you about the products coming out? Let us know in the comment section below.
